McLEAN, VA, August 18, 2026 — PrimeRFP today launched a grant search feature on SCOUT, giving federal contractors, small businesses, and non-profits the same AI-native intelligence platform used to pursue contracts.
SCOUT tracks public and private grant sources daily, then parses and enriches listings buried in individual files or across agency links. The funding instrument, complexity, qualification and time periods are extracted where possible, and the engine then classifies grants by categories. These include foundation, tribal, and municipal, along with charts that it generates to show how each opportunity aligns to a company's market. SCOUT also flags grants that recur annually by matching them against prior award announcements, so users can see which programs will reopen and when.

The feature targets small businesses, including SDVOSB, 8(a), and other SBA-certified categories, along with non-profit organizations. By matching each grant to a company's profile, industry, and policy signals, SCOUT's classification engine applies the same logic that ranks contract opportunities across the rest of the platform. Every classification traces back to published data sources such as SAM.gov Funding Opportunity Announcements, and state and local grants are added through SCOUT's SLED coverage.
