Awarded to Integer Technologies
Integer Technologies,* Columbia, South Carolina, is awarded a $23,133,600 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Threat Resilient Integrated Defense for Enhanced Naval Technologies (TRIDENT) program. This contract provides for science and technology investigations into threat-informed zero trust architecture (ZTA) frameworks tailored to the cyber-physical security needs of shipboard power systems. Integer Technologies is forming a team with Florida State University and the Center for Advanced Power Systems to perform the work. The ZTA will enable naval platforms to maintain situational awareness of their cyber-physical state, dynamically adjust their cyber posture, and fight through adversarial attacks while preserving system performance. The program will address the unique constraints of naval power systems, including low-latency requirements for integrated power systems and the integration of legacy and modern equipment. Work will be performed in Columbia, South Carolina, and is expected to be completed in October 2030. The total cumulative value of this contract, including a 36-month base period and a 36-month option period which will start 12 months after execution and run concurrently, is $23,133,600. Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funds in the amount of $10,133,600, fully funding the base period, are obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under long-range broad agency announcement N0001425SB001 entitled "Long-Range Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Navy and Marine Corps Science and Technology." Since proposals will be received throughout the year under the Long-Range BAA, the number of proposals received in response to the solicitation is unknown. The Office of Naval Research, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N0001427C1303).
