THIS MODIFICATION IS FOR ADDITIONAL WORK IN THE BOILER PLANT AT FMC LEXINGTON. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE PROPANE PIPING TO EACH BOILER, NEW REGULATOR SPRINGS, AND APPURTENANCES WILL BE INSTALLED. THIS WILL PROVIDE FMC LEXINGTON THE BENEFIT OF A REDUNDANT FUEL SOURCE TO EACH BOILER. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE AND SUBMIT A DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION PACKAGE TO THE BUREAU FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL PRIOR TO STARTING INSTALLATION. THIS ADDITIONAL WORK SHALL BE COMMISSIONED. TOTAL PRICE OF THIS MODIFICATION IS $308,994.70. AT ANY TIME THE DIRECT LABOR STAFF ARE ON SITE WORKING ON COMPLETING OTHER WORK AT FMC LEXINGTON, THIS WILL RESULT IN A REDUCTION OF THE DIRECT COST AND SHALL REDUCE THIS MODIFICATION'S TOTAL PRICE. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED.
