RFP- Communitywide Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory

Summit County, Utah, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to conduct a comprehensive communitywide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory for the year 2024. This initiative aims to assess the county's current emissions, evaluate progress toward established reduction goals, and inform future climate action strategies.

Scope of Work:
- Inventory Development: Compile a detailed GHG emissions inventory for the entire community, adhering to ICLEI and Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards. This process should consider previous inventories from 2014 and 2019 to ensure methodological consistency.
- Data Analysis: Analyze the inventory results to identify trends, assess progress toward reduction targets, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Produce a comprehensive report detailing findings, methodologies, and recommendations for future actions.
